HAWAII DAYS

Here's a few pictures to jog your memory or just enjoy.

Laie Point

1967 on our front lawn at 55-435 Naniloa Loop

Greeting Grandpa & Grandma Price when they came to visit in 1966.

Saying Aloha to Grandma & Grandpa Anderson from their visit to us. Tina stayed on for the rest of the summer.

  1. I think "I remember it like it was yesterday" is a phrase you don't TRULY understand until you're older. Laie Point looks like a Garside painting, I remember the excitement of the visits from grandparents and sitting patiently in the hallway outside their bedroom door at the crack of dawn, waiting for them to wake up. I see that green dress I'm wearing in the last picture and instantly remember the weave of the fabric and how much I loved that dress...like it was yesterday.

Thanks for blogging on the go, Mom! Always a treat!
