BEKI AND GUESS WHO?

Here's a picture Beki took of the two of us at Uncle Bill's funeral.
I'm off to visit the Sanders for a couple of weeks. Unless I can blog from there, you'll have to look at this for awhile.  :-)

SPRING BREAK CONTINUES - DAY 2

Here's some more pictures of the trek to Zion. Talk about gorgeous shots. That scenery cannot be beat!

Sophie looks dangerously close to the edge.
She made the BIG jump, but on the small one slipped and her glasses did a number on her. :-(

SPRING BREAK IN UTAH

It's Spring Break here in Utah. Ken took his family to Zion to do some hiking and enjoy nature.
Aria stayed home to mind the house, and maybe spend some time with a friend!

Can't beat Zion for beautiful scenery.

One of the many hikes they took.

 S C A R Y...

 Nice shot.

Is it me or the camera????

EASTER 2015 IN MAPLETON

We had a wonderful family gathering at Ken and Copplia's after conference on Easter Sunday. Lots of fun visiting, good food and a fun Easter egg hunt.
Our menu was ham, salmon, mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, carrots, deviled eggs, rolls, mango punch and carrot cake and raspberry dessert. (I'm sure I'm leaving out something, but needless to say, there was PLENTY of food.

As you can see, there were a lot of eggs to find.

The last egg (at a preset time) was found by JP which had a monetary reward!

JANE'S MORNING WALK

I have been pretty faithful about doing my morning walk six days a week. I'm up to 2.5 miles and around 7,800 steps for the walk. My back feels its very best when I am walking and hopefully it will bring the results I desire. Besides, I am bound and determinded to not gain any weight back that I have lost! I love my morning walk. So many interesting things to see and besides that, I listen to audio books and I can go through a lot of books thanks to Kristin and Erik for including me on their Audible book account. The other day I had an idea for my blog to share some of the things I see on it. Here goes.

I've watched this house being built from when they first dug the basement and foundation.

It went up pretty fast. Every day there were big changes.

This was what gave me the idea to chronicle my walk. I thought it this was so cute. This was the second day so it had faded quite a bit.

 Very pretty Easter Egg.

  Done by Megan and noll?

 Look at those colors.

 Spring green.

 No two houses are alike.

 BIG tree.

Kind of a spralling ranch type.

 Smaller home.

 Walk out basement home.

This is where Suzanne and I go to take our card making class.

 Weird tree.

Spring time means pruning time. I see lots of pruned branches ready to go to the land fill.

My favorite house. My shot doesn't do it justice.

 Another pretty tree.

Coming up to a bridge over Hobble Creek.

It is such a pretty little creek.

Crossing the street to the other side.

Looking over that side of the bridge.

I pass a few little  (sort of) "farms".

I love this row of pine trees.

Coming to the High School which is near the end of my walk.

Springville High School.

Home of the Mighty Red Devils!

Here's the Lewis' house. Isn't it lovely?

They live right next door to the church.

 See that open gate/walkway?

It's a cut-through to church. I just walk in front of the house and turn right into this little walkway and voila! I'm at church.

Here's where I park my car.
(If you go up this street to the corner and turn left, pass two houses you will be at Dennis and Suzanne's home.)

Inside the garage is the entrance to my little apartment! There you have it.
