HAZEL TWIGG COMING TO LIFE!

A lot has been going on in Rolfe, Iowa recently.
First there was a book signing by the author in the Rolfe library.

Then there was a Hometown vendor sale in the school gym. Here's Ruth with some prints from the book.

 I spy with my little eye . . .

 Aren't they beautiful!

IT'S OFFICIAL - ARIA IS ENGAGED

I think everyone is aware of Aria's engagement, but here's a bit of news that some of you may not know.

This was the cruise ship they took. Aria loved the experience. The family, the ship, and especially the wonderful food.

In Ensenada, Mexico, they decided to kayak out to an island about a mile away. They were warned about a strong rip tide and they did their best to paddle to where they were supposed to go. However, they had misjudged and they had quite a struggle to get to the island.

Eventually they did, with a LOT of hard work. When they got on the beach, Nathan proposed and said there wouldn't be anyone more that he would like to go through the currents of life with than Aria, (or words to that affect). Nice metaphor.

That is one unique engagement ring and an exquisite opal.

Save the date:
May 7, 2016, 3 P.M. Provo City Temple

The Temple phone lines opened up for wedding reservations December 1.

It took Aria almost 400 tries to get through but they got their date!

They also had secured the venue for the reception which is just  2 blocks from the Temple!

COCO

Guess who has a new doggie? She's a little older, calmer, housebroken and so very cute. Coco came to Sashy and Curtis via a friend of Suzanne. Coco needed a home and they needed a little dog to love.

Sashy writes, "The newest member of our family is 61 years

old in dog years but that doesn't stop me from holding her

like a baby every second I get."
