DINNER AT GRANDMA'S

A lot is going on at the K & C house. Newly sanded floors, building a new mud room, getting a room ready for the returning missionary, dealing with my stuff in the garage, just to mention a few!  The poor guys are without a stove and fridge, table and chairs (they had to be moved into the living room until the floors dry) and no place to sit, so it makes it kind of hard to cook  - - especially for a family of six, using only a microwave!

Hence the invitation to come to Sunday dinner at Grandma's. I wasn't sure I could remember how to cook for a group, but it did come back.

Going along with the usual Agle tradition, we had Mexican food: chicken enchiladas, re-fried beans, Spanish rice and salad and of course, chips, salsa, olives and corn (oops - I forgot the corn!) lemonade or water.  This was followed by a rousing game of Mormon Bridge with ice cream and cookies for dessert.

It was fun to have my first dinner party and we fit everyone around the table quite nicely.

Thanks, Ken for taking the picture.

Look, but don't touch the Hummels!

And here's some pictures of the new mud/laundry room.

Such a better lay out. Lots more room.
He moved the washer and dryer to the other wall which made the counters much more accessible.

There will be another seat like this on the other side, but slightly narrower. He removed a wall and a door and rewired, etc. Yes, Ken did all the work himself and designed the seat. Nice job.
