It's official. Elizabeth Cadwallader, know to all as Liz, has been asked by Mark to marry him and she has accepted. It was a very romantic proposal involving a limo to surprise pick her up at work (minus Mark) and in the limo was a basket with memorbilia from their first date. She was then driven up the canyon to a lake where there was another basket of things (something about their dates) and then someone drove her by seadoo across the lake to an island where Mark was waiting with a proposal and a beautiful ring. That's the abridged version, but I'm sure we'll hear more about it as time goes on.
We all got meet Liz at the family reunion. We could all tell that she was special. They enjoy each other's company and have many things in common. The wedding is tentatively set for November 12, 2011 to be performed in the Oakland Temple. Liz is also from Northern California and they plan to make their home somewhere in that area following the wedding.
She plays cards too. In our family that's important!
