(He decided to get his Master's when he saw all the kids that were graduating from Church College of Hawaii were wearing the same robe as he! This involved after his day job, driving into Honolulu - 1 hour in and 1 hour back and sitting through 3 hours of classes twice a week. He also had to teach a class at CCH - a teacher decided not to fulfill his contract. He said he was only 1 chapter ahead of the students each week! Busy times).

After unloading boxcars of 100# balls of rubber all day for Firestone Tire Company he decided he was going to go to college. He worked a full time job and went to college full time and graduated in 3 1/2 years.  - With honors! We had 3 children when he graduated. Busy times.
