THE MAYOR OF ROLFE, IOWA

Though she said she couldn't wait until her two-year term as Mayor was over, she felt it her civic duty to run again
(for some very good reasons), so . . .
And vote for Julie they did, and she won by a landslide. Lucky town to have such a caring citizen. Thanks for being willing to serve for another 2 years, Julie.

On that 15 acre spread they call home, is a building that is over 100 years old and was home to hundreds of CHICKENS! It hasn't been used for that for many years, even before Julie and Scott bought the property. The building has been deteriorating for years and it needed to come down.

This picture was taken about 5 years ago. You can see it is a pretty large building.

One of their good friends brought his tractor and bull dozer over and this is the result.

Now they can see a neighbor's house, so this Spring they plan on planting some new trees.

They will wait until is gets colder and there is snow and then they will burn the rubble.

On a brighter note, they recently had their garage painted. Doesn't it look pretty?
