SPRINGVILLE ART MUSEUM QUILT SHOW

Here are just a few of the many quilts that are on special display at the Springville Art Museum.
This has an African feel and look to it.

This is a modern "Grandmother's Flower Garden".

 A work of art.

This has very interesting quilting lines.

A "star" quilt. Important to get sharp points. The "flying geese" border is very labor intensive.

Another applique quilt done in block formation.

I love this pictoral quilt. Very hard to achieve.

Info about the above quilt. (BTW- each quilt has a short story/explanation about it. I only included a few).

A traditional Grandmother's Flower garden.

This type of quilt is called a "Baltimore Album" quilt.

A modern version of a traditional pattern.

Japanese family crests.

Beautiful applique and hand quilting on this one.

Under the sea!
