GATHERING WOOD
We tried to keep our house in Cedar City extra warm by gathering wood. It was also a fun family activity.
@ 1974. Loading up Ruth. Even little Julie helped.
The wood was free but you could only take from trees that were cut down. Dad used the chain saw to cut the pieces into usable logs. The best was when you found a "knot" that was full of resin so it burned really hot.
