"For Ashlee's birthday
dinner at the Carlton house she requested a tea party.
Ashlee really
enjoys baking but sadly the duncan oven had been out of commission for many
months which curtailed her baking. Pa (big Quinton) finally fixed it and Ashlee
was back in the baking business. For the party she made: short bread cookies,
ginger cookies, banana bread, brownie bites.
We also had her favorite
cheese pimento sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, sun chips, spinach strawberry
salad, baked brie with herb oil on baguette, olives and veggie platter."
"Everyone had a fun time and from the Carltons Ashlee received two rose bushes, a bag of dirt, a book about pugs and a purse."
WOW! Now that's what I call a tea party. Look how nicely those boys are waiting until it is time to eat.
What FUN! And it all sounds so good, too!
ReplyDeleteExcept...are those CRUSTS on the SANDWICHES?! *shudder*
I KEED!
Lovely spread, lovely party, for a lovely girl.
