After a tiral run, I guess they could. Ken, Coppelia, Aria, Davis, Steven, Nathan, Sophie & JP loaded up the car on Sunday afternoon and headed to Zion National Park for a few days of family vacation.
What do you do at Zion? Best place in the world to hike and here's the pictures to prove it.
It must have been warm enough to go bare footed!
Steven or Natan considering the options,
but check out the people below on the switchback trail!
Can't have a river without trying to skip rocks.

Yes, it was an amazing 55 hours or so. We took off on Sunday and made it to our motel. It was pretty fortunate since the place was pretty booked, but we found 3 rooms at this fun dive-of-a-motel that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. We had 3 rooms so we had plenty of beds.
ReplyDeleteThe first day we took off in separate directions in the morning with Aria, Steven and I looking to conquer Angel's (Agle's) Landing. It is my favorite accessible hikes. An amazing experience. Coppelia, Davis, Nathan, Sophie and JP decided to try hidden canyon, which if you've tried is quite the hike in its own right. After finding out that JP is much like his Father when he was young, they decided that trying to keep him under control on 4 foot ledges with sheer drop offs wasn't too wise so they eventually abandoned that hike. The Angel's Landing group made it to the top. It is arduous, but a lot of fun. We went pretty early so we missed the crowds who we were able to encourage as we descended (love that part).
The afternoon was spent strolling up the river up to the narrows. Afterwards, we all went back to our motel and had an amazing dinner at Oscars and then to bed. Coppelia's health tracker showed she walked 20,500 steps on day one. It was a fun day and the weather was generally very pleasant.
