A few weeks ago BYU had it's first home game. Oh there was so much electricity in the air. Everywhere you went there were fans sporting some form of BYU boosters. Beki had her car decorated with flags, stickers even "Y" headrests on the back of the front seats!
I hung out with January (she and Bob were spending a week in Provo land) and Beki for the day. We did a little garage sale shopping in the morning (bingo! we all three hit the jackpot) and then to lunch with Nala joining us for a wonderful salad at a cute restaurant with a real railroad car for some of the seating.
Then it was on to BYU bookstore to buy more stuff! Beki won on that one! After that, it called for dessert so on to the Creamery for double ice cream cones.
UMMMMMMM, YUMMY!
The stairs were so cute we had to have a picture in front of them, but of course standing there, we covered up the picture of the cougar and the steps that say "BYU COUGARS".
Oh well, you get the idea.
Of course we had to sit down with the mascot. He was very "hunky".
Since I'm not too good at "selfies" I just took a picture of my shirt in the mirror!
Later that night, THE football game, (which I watched on TV). January and Bob bought Nala and Jerry's tickets so they could attend.
All decked out and ready to be real fans.
A cheerleader, Timberly, (the coach's wife) Beki, Liz and her daughter.
Liz and Mike.
The coach Kalani, (taken off of the TV).
