From Tabernacle to Temple. The Tabernacle was built in the 1800s and almost completely destroyed in a fire December 17, 2010. In an amazing transformation, it has been lovingly restored and will be dedicated as the 150th LDS Temple. Saturday, because of Dennis' involvement of the Temple Celebration, we were able to take a tour and it was very special. (THANKS, DENNIS)
This was taken after the tour in a reception area in front of a large photo of the Temple.
Outside. Curtis and Sashy.
Outside: Spencer and Danielle.
Outside: Dennis and Suzanne.
We weren't allowed to take pictures of the inside, but here are a few that the church has made available.
(Aria will use this bride's room!)
Aria and Nate will seal their marriage in this room, kneeling across the altar.
This was a very special day, Saturday, January 9, 2016.
Wow! What a beautiful temple! I can't wait to see it in person someday!
