Once a year the Hobble Creek 5th ward has "Breakfast by the Creek" for the ladies in our ward. Several houses in our ward back onto Hobble Creek and they seem to rotate the venue each year. It's a lovely setting and it was a delightful way to spend a Saturday morning.
Not so much water this year, but enough to enjoy.
A neighbor across the water has a lovely deck to sit and enjoy the creek.
I was in charge of getting the OJ and milk.
The menu consisted of 5 different kinds of muffins and different sweet rolls.
Also there was a yogurt treat with fresh berries and granola and a bowl of watermelon with strawberries and raspberries.
The lady second from the left is Katie's mother-in-law.
Someone built a dam to make a "swimming hole".
About 50 ladies attended.
That's Suzanne on the right in the blue shirt.
