A Letter from Jr.

Hi, everybody --

This is Dennis Jr. posting on mom's blog (with her permission). As you may or may not know, Ruth had fairly major surgery a couple of weeks ago. She is on strict doctor's orders that largely incapacitate her for about three months.

Mom has arranged to spend a month with Ruth to help her through a fair chunk of that recovery period. So she is staying at Julie & Scott's place at night, then spending a fair chunk of each day a few blocks away at Ruth's place.

Mom has tried to update the blog from afar, but it is a little more complicated trying to do it remotely.  She still may get to it, but she asked if I would post something here to let people know what is going on with the blog. She can still get emails, so feel free to drop her a line. And if you have fodder for the blog, do still pass it along. She still hopes to work out the kinks of posting from afar. (I'm sure she is, naturally, most devastated about not being able to post about my birthday.)

Speaking of fodder for the blog, Mom was delighted to hear from Rhiannon and Ashlee that they have started a blog together. It is called Semi Germane Germaines, and you can find it here. You'll want to be sure to bookmark their blog.

Anyway, just wanted to keep you up to date. Be sure to keep checking the blog, and feel free to drop mom a line sometime. I'm sure she'd love to hear from you. Her email is jane agle 36 @ gmail . com (without the spaces).
