Since St. Patrick's Day
was on a Sunday everyone wore green to church and we enjoyed hearing Eddy speak at sacrament meeting, (his lucky day!) After church the kids went on a hunt to find
what the wee folk had left them. They each got a new pair of shoes
(thanks to the leprechaun helpers who made the shoes ;) and green and gold
candy in each shoe.

Then the kids helped decorate and set the table and we had a lovely meal of corned beef and cabbage, roasted red potatoes with rosemary and olive oil, orange molasses carrots, bread and butter. To drink we had limeade and the traditional green milk.
Zaynzley is patiently waiting.

What a fantastic group of good looking men and what a fantastic spread of food any Irish man or woman would be pleased to be served. Yummy!

ReplyDeleteRhiannon, you are the coolest mom EVER! (Next to my Mom, of course. And me!).
ReplyDeleteThis is random, but I LOVE that square jadeite casserole dish. You better hope I never come to your neck of the woods, because I will be stealing many, many things.
Excellent!
