ADAM UPDATE

Adam returned to Rolfe to spend Thanksgiving with his Mom.  They enjoyed a family Thanksgiving dinner with Aunt Julie and Uncle Scott.

It was a short but very enjoyable visit.

A FEW MORE PICTURES

Erik & Kristin got a new bed.  They offered us their "former" bed (can't call it old, since it is much newer than our) and we happily took them up on it.  Here it is loaded in Erik's truck, and tied down securely so it won't blow out on the freeway.

It's not easy getting a California King bed in a truck, and still
harder getting it unloaded, but we caravaned over to SJC with
all four kids, and between Erik and those kids, our old bed
was out in the garage and the new bed in our bedroom.
Those kids know how to work!  It was impressive.

Two happy people.

Dad is still drooling.

THANKSGIVING IN MURRIETA, CALIFORNIA

As tradition goes, Thanksgiving in Murrieta begins with a flag football game. As exciting as any pro game, let me tell you.
Attaching the "flags".

Hike!

I think it is coming my way.

Got it!

Run.
Adjust the socks.

"THE PROPOSAL"

For those of you who haven't seen this "The Proposal", Dennis jr. instructed me on how to add it.  I think you will get a kick out of it.  Here's a quote from Dennis;

"Katie wasn't aware what was happening. She had supposed it was a special dinner up at the cabin. But you can pretty much see the moment when it dawns on her what might be happening.

Also fun to note that the musical score for this was composed and performed by Daren. The  composition is called "Katie."

I found out later that Daren had enlisted the aid of his friends and brothers to hide behind the trees with their cameras so they could get the whole thing recorded. Clever!

(PS  Be sure and turn on the sound and look for Katie's shaking knee.)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RHIANNON GERMAINE CARLTON

This lovely young mother to 4 boys is about to add a 5th child to the family. A G-I-R-L. She will have lots of big brothers to look after her.
We all wish Rhiannon a very special 35th birthday and a wonderful year to come.
You seldom find her without a smile on her face.

One happy couple.

Like most moms today, she spends a lot of time as a taxi driver.

Four lucky boys to have a great mom such as Rhiannon.
