JANE'S MORNING WALK

I have been pretty faithful about doing my morning walk six days a week. I'm up to 2.5 miles and around 7,800 steps for the walk. My back feels its very best when I am walking and hopefully it will bring the results I desire. Besides, I am bound and determinded to not gain any weight back that I have lost! I love my morning walk. So many interesting things to see and besides that, I listen to audio books and I can go through a lot of books thanks to Kristin and Erik for including me on their Audible book account. The other day I had an idea for my blog to share some of the things I see on it. Here goes.

I've watched this house being built from when they first dug the basement and foundation.

It went up pretty fast. Every day there were big changes.

This was what gave me the idea to chronicle my walk. I thought it this was so cute. This was the second day so it had faded quite a bit.

 Very pretty Easter Egg.

  Done by Megan and noll?

 Look at those colors.

 Spring green.

 No two houses are alike.

 BIG tree.

Kind of a spralling ranch type.

 Smaller home.

 Walk out basement home.

This is where Suzanne and I go to take our card making class.

 Weird tree.

Spring time means pruning time. I see lots of pruned branches ready to go to the land fill.

My favorite house. My shot doesn't do it justice.

 Another pretty tree.

Coming up to a bridge over Hobble Creek.

It is such a pretty little creek.

Crossing the street to the other side.

Looking over that side of the bridge.

I pass a few little  (sort of) "farms".

I love this row of pine trees.

Coming to the High School which is near the end of my walk.

Springville High School.

Home of the Mighty Red Devils!

Here's the Lewis' house. Isn't it lovely?

They live right next door to the church.

 See that open gate/walkway?

It's a cut-through to church. I just walk in front of the house and turn right into this little walkway and voila! I'm at church.

Here's where I park my car.
(If you go up this street to the corner and turn left, pass two houses you will be at Dennis and Suzanne's home.)

Inside the garage is the entrance to my little apartment! There you have it.

GIRLS HEALTH CARDS

Continuing on with the health card thing, here's the cards I have on 3 of my girls. (Sorry Julie and Erik, before your time.)  :-(
I have to say, my girls were not quite as accident prone as my boys.

JANUARY
Chicken Pox: There was not an inch on January you could touch that didn't have a chicken pox. Even under her nails and on the whites of her eyes! We took turns staying awake all night to make sure she didn't scratch!
Hernia: I was reading a story to her on the bed when I noticed this "bulge". Took her to the doctor the next day where he said it was a hernia, probably caused during her birth.

About that age when you are getting all those shots.

No accident here, but there certainly is the potential.

About the age she had her "first" driving lesson. (hee hee)

Return from a mud run. Certainly could have picked up some germs, but never did!

CAROL
Measles: Carol was just one big mass of red bumps all over her little body.
Appendicitis: The day after Easter Carol complained of a stomach ache. I attributed it to too much Easter candy, but the complaining got louder and more severe as the day wore on, so we finally decided it was serious. We drove into Honolulu and there they told us we were none too soon because it was about to burst.. You know that saying, "I told you I was sick!!!

At the beach with her Daddy.

Add about 8 or 9 years to this Easter and you have the following results.

Note the cute poster on the wall her friends made.

And lots of flowers (but not on that dress. . . what was I thinking?????)

Certainly the potential for an accident!

With that famous car that she won!

RUTH

Chicken Pox: What more can I say. It was a terrible time!
Cracked wrist: Thank goodness we have strong bones. Very few breaks, but  . . .
Teeth: Those teeth of hers were pretty stubborn.
(over) All it says is she got braces.

The potential for an accident, but nothing happened.

Arm in a cast for several weeks.

 S C A R R Y!

Once the braces went on, good-bye to the French horn and the trumpet!
