A BRIEF REVIEW OF THE EXCITEMENT OF DENNIS

Since you all know the details, here are a few pictures taken of these last few days.

From Urgent Care he was transferred to Saddleback Hospital for more tests.

Erik arrived shortly after he was admitted to Saddleback.

E T call home.
Getting ready to move him to USC hospital.

One - two - three-- heave.

 Success!

 Good to go.

At the USC Keck hospital . It includes several buildings and this one is just for liver and kidneys (I think).
By this time, January had driven down from Fairfield and met us at the hospital.
 Line 3
 Home again and somewhat mobile.

 Setting up the hospital bed.

Yep! It works. Here's a high-five.

APPENDIX GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Most of you have heard about Ruth's episode. The poor girl had over 200 stitches and she has a long, vertical row of staples in her from under her chest to her pelvis. OUCH! She had 1/3 of her intestine removed, but we're so happy that there was no malignancy and that she will be as good as new in time. Thanks for all your prayers in her behalf. She's still in the hospital and probably will be for another couple of days and then a slow recovery, but recover she will!
My two blue-eyed sweeties.

Here's a drawing from the doctor.

REDECORATED BATHROOM

Julie and Scott have been working on their downstairs bathroom and it looks beautiful. They removed the shower door, re-did the bathroom floor, painted and a few other things. It's ready for the Parade of Homes in which their house is on the tour for the celebration of Rolfe's Sesquicentennial,(150yrs). They've been working hard to get their house in parade showing condition. Well done and the hard work shows!

PAGODA, PAGODA,PAGODA

PAGODA, PAGODA, PAGODA!
FIRE-PIT, FIRE-PIT, FIRE-PIT!

Here's Ken's latest project. Which is it? A pagoda or a fire-pit? It's both! Here's some in-progress pictures. He says it will take awhile because of his work travels, but I'm sure they will be using it before the summer is over. Can't wait to see the finished product
Looks like a bunch of 2x4s upright.

 EEEEH YAAAAHHH!

 Ah Ha! Taking shape.

Floor going in.

FELIZ CUMPLEANOS, HERMANA AGLE

It's a bit late but still heartfelt. Aria turned 21 years old on June 30th. It's mid-winter in Chile while most of us are feeling the heat!

Here she is in a scarf contest. I think she wins the prize!
I think their winters are more like Southern California's.
