THE WEDDING DINNER

Dennis Sr. was always the picture taker in our family. I'm not very good and often get too caught up in the moment to remember but nevertheless, here goes.

What is so great about this picture is Ken took it as a moving panorama. We were sitting at a large four-sided table!
Mark & Jayne Tyler and their daughters, Lucy and Holly and son Harry. Katie Lifferth, Me, January, Danielle and her boyfriend Spencer and Aria.

Here I am with some of my favorite kids!

Just visiting.

January talking to Big Harry.
Danielle and Spencer enjoying each other's company.

 Jayne and Mark Tyler.

January talking with Sashy's soon -to-be father-in-law.

This greeted us when we arrived for the dinner party. That's Sashy's soon-to-be mother-in-law arranging the pictures.

January talking to the happy couple.

Dennis and Ken showing how important they are to have to take this phone call ! (jk)

KEN'S WORKSHOP

There is one place Ken LOVES to spend time and that is his workshop, and if you love working with wood and have the equipment, who wouldn't love that workshop!
Here he is making the prop for the original play written and directed by Dennis Agle, jr.,
The Incompleat Works of Shakespeare.

This is part of the interior that will make the changes for this clever stage prop.

Here's some drawings of the different looks it will take on.

More. . .

And more. . .

And even more . . .

There is about every tool in there needed for woodworking.

A BIG circular saw with a good safety guard.

Of course every workshop needs a few books.

How about this cabinet.  Should be able to hold a lot of "stuff".

I think that's a sander?????

Another view of the room.

PAYSON, UTAH TEMPLE

Utah has a new Temple. Before Temples are dedicated they hold an open house for any who would like to come and see the interior. After several weeks of this, it is cleaned and then dedicated to the Lord. This beautiful new Temple will serve the area which includes the Mapleton Agles.

In between the open house and the dedication (which was held today), thousands of youths put on a production that tells a wonderful story. Steven and Nathan were part of that group, and Ken was the Stake Leader assigned to help out.

Here's the Agle Family attending the Open House.

The event was held at BYU's stadium

All those kids. Lots of practicing!

There was a terrific thunderstorm before the performance. Many prayers were offered and the rain stopped long enough for the show and then started again.

They found one of the few spots that was dry.

As you can see, Nathan got drenched before the show started!

But they stayed dry and warm!

NOT GRADUATIONS BUT "PROMOTIONS"

HERE'S SOME CUTE PICTURES.

JP had a "promotion" celebration. He was in a skit and was a rooster.

 Yes, he's got the attitude!

These gals didn't graduation (recently) or get promoted, but isn't it a fun picture.

Blake also was promoted from 5th grade to 6th. He's with a proud grandma.

SOME HAPPIER NEWS FROM IOWA

Here's a little update from Julie:

I will send more as the summer progresses - hope to get a lot done around our house this summer.  Our garden in the corral is now the WHOLE corral so we should have tons of veggies and a great pumpkin patch.
(the corral is where that circle of fence posts are)

We had a neighbor take down some dead trees on our property (we are giving him the hay in our back field in exchange).

I kept the stump of one of them and am going to make it into a planter later day - that is the photo of the giant stump.

(Julie told me they have to wait a year before they can stain the deck.)

We hung the curtains (OK they are table cloths that I got on clearance for $7 each) in our 3 season room.  The pipe is cheap metal pipe and then plumbers floor flanges - thanks Pinterest - super cheap way to get curtain rods that long.

The other pillars were made into 2 lights and then with the left over Roger made me two little tables - one has a feather tree on it I am going to decorate and leave up all year.

(Julie told me that a few years ago the city was tearing down a house and these pillars were on the curb. She asked if she could have them and the guy said, 'help yourself'. She knew she could do something special with them someday.)

Our deck is so beautiful and the fire pit is the perfect place to hang out.  We just placed the pillars (there is 6 foot 4x4 in the ground and then the pillars are slid on.  We are going to string lights from them and then I have a vintage metal round table and chairs that I am going to get out and spray paint hopefully soon.

(This is a cute little garden area out their back door.)
